The 2009 CoDA Service Conference and

The 2009 CoDA Convention will be Merged.

Beginning on Wednesday July 8, 2009 @ 3:00 the CSC will begin.  Spirituality Day will be replaced by Spirituality weekend as we join the CoDA Convention attendees for fellowship throughout the weekend.

The CoDA Convention will open on Thursday evening and all registrants will be able to attend the welcome reception to get acquainted with one another.

CSC business will continue through Saturday around 2:30 PM, and the evenings will be left open for convention participation.

At the 2008 CSC a motion was passed that if WA Intergroup needed to host both the CSC and the Convention, that they wanted to run them consecutively and there needed to be enough registrants.  A group of CoDA members in Vancouver, WA stepped up and formed a committee to serve the CSC in 2009. 

The events committee, along with the two committees from Washington, have all decided to merge the two events this year in preparation for 2010. All of these committee members are very excited about the process of bringing these two events together so that all members of CoDA can have the opportunity to enjoy both service work and  fellowship together.
