The
spiritual principle of this step is faith. Faith put in to practice is
what helps me to remain in the present, because if I turn my will and
my live over to the care of god everything will be O.K. The people I
love will be care for in a way I could never do it. I no longer need to
have a foot in my past because god already took care of me and has a
great plan for me in the future. That way I can live in today. I can
work and be productive. I can read a book and learn new things since my
brain is not occupied in how to change the past or how to control the
future an all the obsessive negative thoughts. I can recognize the
blessing that I have today. God is taking care of the people I love the
same way as he is taking care of me.
