H.A.L.T.

H.A.L.T.

Hungry, angry, lonely or tired
A warning not just to me
When in these things I get so mired
I should just sit on my hands and be.

Fridays are the worst days
When every and I mean EVERYBODY
Is having fun in so many ways
Everybody in the world except for me.

People are out walking and talking
Being social and befriending
And I’m on the inside just gawking
Dangerous e-mails I would usually be sending.

So I’ll just be here the rest of the day
Sitting on my hands and just being
And that’s all I’m going to say
This action is actually very freeing.
