No need to register, you can just show up and listen, or if you like, you can introduce yourself. The meeting usually starts with some readings and then we introduce ourselves. After that, we have announcements and the selected reading for the evening, followed by individual sharing. People share on what we read or on what brought them to the meeting. There is no pressure to share. At the close of the meeting, we open up to fellowship and offer time to answer questions that newcomers might have. PLEASE NOTE: IF THE MEETING FALLS ON A HOLIDAY, WE WILL NOT HOLD THE MEETING. OTHERWISE, THERE WILL BE A MEETING EACH WEEK. We are also inviting CoDA members with long-term recovery to come and help us carry the CoDA message to newcomers and practice Step Twelve! This newcomer-focused format requires more members in recovery. Newcomers raise many questions after the meeting, as they seem more comfortable speaking in the Fellowship portion. Each week, we average 22 – 28 newcomers, with only 2-3 members in recovery. We need your help to keep this meeting going and growing. We trust you will answer our call. Thank you in advance.
